Delete your account

Last updated: August 3, 2026

You can permanently delete your eudy account and everything in it at any time. There is no form to fill in, no reason to give, and nobody to talk to first.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you have bought premium, deleting your account also ends that purchase and it cannot be restored, so if you only want to stop using eudy for a while, you can simply sign out instead.

From inside the app

This is the fastest route and it works immediately.

  1. Open eudy and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Scroll to the bottom and choose Delete account & all data.
  4. Confirm. Your data is erased straight away.

Open eudy to start.

By email, if you cannot sign in

If you have lost access to your account and cannot use the option above, email privacy@eudy.app from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. Sending from the account address is how we confirm the request is really yours.

We will confirm by reply once it is done. We aim to complete these within 30 days, and normally much sooner. We may need to ask you a question if we cannot match the address to an account.

What gets deleted

Everything tied to your account is erased from our active systems:

  • Your account itself, and your sign-in credentials.
  • Every week you have planned, including all tasks, reminders, notes, alarms and leftovers.
  • All of your settings, themes, custom categories and saved Regular Schedule.
  • Any calendar feed address you connected.
  • Any day you shared by link, including the copy of that day held behind the link, and any collaboration room you created.
  • Any diagnostic error reports recorded against your account.
  • The customer record we hold for payments, including the email address stored against it.

The copy held on the device you delete from is wiped at the same time. If you used eudy on other devices, open the app on each one and it will clear itself, or clear that browser's site data.

Residual copies may persist in routine backups for a short period before those backups age out.

What we have to keep, and why

If you ever bought premium, records of that purchase are kept by us and by our payment processor to meet tax, accounting and fraud-prevention obligations. We cannot delete these on request, because we are legally required to hold them. Where the GDPR applies, this relies on the legal-obligation exception to the right to erasure.

These records cover the transaction itself. For purchases made in the iOS app, they include the account identifier the purchase was made under; we keep that link so that if Apple refunds a purchase after your account is gone, we can still tell which account it belonged to. They contain no payment card details, and nothing you planned or wrote in eudy.

Analytics

Analytics are off unless you turned them on. If you did, those records are pseudonymous usage counts and are not linked to your account, so deleting your account does not identify anything to remove. You can switch analytics off at any time in Settings → Privacy, on any device, whether or not you delete your account.

Deleting the app without deleting your account

Uninstalling eudy or clearing your browser removes the copy on that device, but it does not delete your account or the data synced to it. Use one of the two routes above if you want the account gone.
